System Requirements
Editing Environment
ClickWorks editing environment requires Power Macintosh with System 7.5 or higher, 10.7 MB of RAM for the ClickWorks application, 6 MB of RAM for the ClickWorks Player, and a hard drive with at least 30 MB of free space.
Runtime Environment
The ClickWorks Player runs on Macintosh computers with System 7.0 or higher, at least 6 MB of free RAM and a hard drive with at least 3 MB of free space.
The ClickWorks Player for Windows 95 runs on an IBM PC (or 100% compatible clone) 486/66 DX2 and a hard drive with at least 3 MB of free space.
The ClickWorks Player for Windows NT is in final stages of development, and will be made available free of charge in the future.
Installing ClickWorks
To install ClickWorks, double click on the ClickWorks Installer, select Continue, choose the language appropriate for you, and select Install. The complete editing environment, as well as Power Mac, 68K & FAT (PPC and 68K combined) players will be installed on your disk. The 68K and FAT players will reside in self-extracting archives.
The installation also includes an Online Help guide, media for using the ClickWorks Tutorial, and a Demo Presentation launcher.
IMPORTANT: Please remember to fill out your self addressed Support/Registration Card and return mail it in as soon as possible. Registration entitles you to receive support, as well as product updates and information.
Installing ClickWorks Extensions
Extensions which are included with ClickWorks enhance it in many useful ways. Particularly worth mentioning is the WebLink extension which allows speedy creation of Hybrid local-internet solutions. See the 'Extensions User Guide' for a detailed description of each extension's functionality.
To install ClickWorks Extensions, move the extensions from the folder named "Extensions (disabled)" into the one called "Extensions". For more information please consult "About Extensions" in the folder "Extensions (disabled)" .
Tutorials
Three ClickWorks tutorials are provided on the CD. The first one is a general introduction to the application. The second tutorial discusses Time Scenarios and the third one will show you how to design and use searches in your project.
ClickGallery
Included with ClickWorks is an extensive library of royalty free media for use in your projects. More than 170MB of high quality sounds, movies and images are enclosed. Check it out! The Media Library is not installed on your hard disk. You can find it on the ClickWorks CD.
Installing Claris XTND
The Claris XTND System extensions allow you to import text files created by many popular word processors into your projects. To install Claris XTND, double click on the ClickWorks Installer, select Continue, choose Install Claris XTND, and select Install. Claris XTND is automatically installed into your System Extensions folder.

Runtime License Agreement
No royalties or payment of any kind is required to be able to distribute ClickWorks Player as part of your project or title.
However, there are a few terms you must comply with if you wish to commercially distribute a project created with ClickWorks. These terms are set forth in the Runtime Software Distribution License Agreement (found in the 'Runtime License Agreement' folder).
